What I'm Reading
It seems every year I make a promise to myself that I will read more and then I tend to only read when I’m traveling, so when traveling stopped funny enough, the reading started big time! I have been using the Libby App to check out books from the library and listen to them on my phone. Since the last year and a half brought a lot more time to do well nothing, I took a lot more walks and listened to a lot more books.
Here’s what I’ve read recently and really enjoyed.
This one is currently at the top of my list. I just finished it so it’s top of mind but also it was incredibly powerful and deserves it’s own discussion, so a future post to come on this one.
Jodi Picoult tells such intense stories and her research process must be intense because there is zero sense she doesn’t actually know what she is writing about. Small Great Things is another amazing book by this author.
A MUCH lighter read than the first two and really enjoyable. I find Elin Hilderbrand’s books to be a nice escape when I want to read non-fiction.
Not a book for the faint of heart. It’s raw, it’s real and it’s explicit!
These are all books I listened to on the Libby App but I also finally gifted myself a Kindle and I’m reading on that too! I know, look at me go!! It’s a great way to travel with multiple books and take your time with some and speed through others.
Are you a reader? What kinds of books do you like to read?
Have you read any of the books I’ve talked about above? If so, which ones?
Have a good book suggestion? Leave it in the comments!
