Week-End Update

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you’ve had a great week. This week has moved fast and slow all at the same time, is that possible?

Here’s what I’ve been up to.

I moved from week one into week two of my Chandanni Liver Cleanse and it’s been such an interesting experience. I wrote about my first five days on Monday and you can catch up on that here. I’ll be sharing more milestones in this journey along with how I transition out of the cleanse, too. A question I’ve been getting a lot is whether or not I will go back to drinking coffee and the answer is most definitely yes, I will go back to drinking coffee, but probably not by the gallon like before.


My husband was home sick most of the week and he’s trying to give me his cold, but I’m having none of that. I have things to do, people to see and a big weekend coming up! When we were on our way to Florida a couple weeks ago I learned I’d won an aj love yoga mat. I finally broke it out for some much needed time on my mat after work one day this week. It’s thick, feels great to practice on and I can’t get enough of all the beautiful mantras below my feet while I practice. I’d been eyeing these mats up for a long time and I’m so excited to have one of my own now.

It comes at a perfect time because I’m about to start spending a lot more time on my mat. My Yoga Teacher Training starts this weekend! I am beyond excited for this journey, this experience. Not only will this help me take my teaching to the next level, but I know it will be an incredible and life altering process. I will of course be sharing this journey so feel free to follow along.
