Hitting Reset
I talk a lot on social media and here, on Barreista Be Well about healthy habits. You might immediately jump to nutrition when you hear that phrase “healthy habits” but for me it encompasses so much more than just the way you fuel your body. For me, I’m considering my nutrition along with my sleep, hydration, mental health, relationships, ultimately my entire being. There are ways to have healthy habits around all of them. You might even interchange the word boundaries with habits for some of those categories.
I have felt a little off balance since I was in California a few weeks ago. Between the time change, the activity and food option changes, the travel alone and various other contributing factors I just haven’t felt like myself. Thankfully though I’ve come to know myself quite well, sometimes too well if there is such a thing, but it helps me stay very in tune with what my body needs and wants. Honestly, if we listen, our bodies will tell us exactly what they do and don’t want, what they do and don’t need. Are you listening to your body?
