Summer Barre is back at Young Dance Academy

Classes will be held on Monday evenings at 5:30 PM, from June 16th through August 11th

Summer Barre Gear

For class you will need a yoga mat, hand towel and optional light weights. The light weights are not required but will add resistance to our workouts. I recommend two or three pound hand weights. I also love wrist weights, they are a great option as well. Sometimes I use both! Don’t have an option at home already? Grab your gear here.


Benefits of Barre

Barre offers the opportunity to increase strength, improve flexibility, and enhance/improve your posture all while being low impact, making it friendly on the joints. I lead movement that gets you out of your head and into your body, having fun along the way. The best type of workout for your body is the one that you enjoy!
