Weekend In Review
I hope you had an amazing weekend and you’re walking into Monday feeling refreshed! There was a lot of fun stuff going on this weekend so I thought I’d share a little weekend review.
Friday
We celebrated Valentine’s Day a little early with 20 some #barrebesties and their #barrehubbies. It was so fun meeting my #barrebesties other halves and seeing them develop a true appreciation for what their ladies are doing at the barre every day. We followed up that fun class with a happy hour at Valentine Coffee in Oak Creek. They have more than just coffee, including great happy hour specials!
ps. Thanks for staying open for us!
Saturday
I’m a creature of habit and I love a good routine. Saturday’s usually start off with a trip to the gym. Since I teach in the studio 3-5 days a week I like to make time for other workouts that I enjoy, too. Plus the cross training is important to keep me on top of my game in the studio. My favorite machine at the gym is definitely the stair mill. I love crushing goals on that one! This week I set out to reach 100 floors in 20 min, which I did. 101 actually! Set. Those. Goals. Then go get em’!
My #barreistahubby and I had a date afternoon planned which included a special, surprise stop at a new french patisserie for a coconut macaroon and glass of champagne. After that we headed to the Well Spa at the Pfister Hotel for an indulgent couples massage. Ultimate in relationship and self-care. The Well Spa does an amazing job making you feel pampered. We can’t wait to go back.
Our massage was followed by dinner and drinks and me falling asleep on the couch, real life, super common!
Sunday
I made my list and checked it twice, getting lots done around the house, work for my day job and work for Barreista Be Well. It always feel going into Monday feeling accomplished.
I have a full week of work, classes and two special events coming up this weekend. Hope you all have a wonderful week!
